Mobile Gambling - Pros And Cons

Today my focus is on Mobile Casino Gaming...it may surprise some but this is one of the fastest growing applications in the market today.

Mobile Gaming refers to gambling done on a remote wirelessly connected device. These devices can include wireless tablet PC's, mobile phones and other non traditional mid-level networked computing devices. Some online casinos and online poker cardrooms offer mobile options. While still relatively underdeveloped, analysts place the value of the market space at US $20 billion by 2010. Juniper, Gartner and Seymour Pierce all project rapid growth in the sector through to 2010.

Unfortunately as is the case with a moral topic such as Gambling, this application brings both pros and cons with it. Here's an insight

Nowadays it would not be easy to surprise someone with a mobile phone game. The technology is getting more advanced, now you can play not only at home, but almost anywhere, thanks to advanced graphics chips. Everybody has a mobile phone, smartphone or PDA, the 3G and WiFi coverage is increasing, so the possibilities for online games are easy and widely available.

Mobile casino games allow users to gamble using the internet connection. It can be of many types of games. One can play online blackjack games, poker, baccarat and many others. Playing games in a mobile casino on your iPhone or Blackberry is simialr to games on your PC.

There are numerous advantages in gambling online. There are many online gambling resources, so the top ones tend to compete with each other and eventually, these sites offer more chances to win and offer bigger bonuses, rewards programs and promotions. Some gambling sites even offer a bonus amount if you just deposit some money in the account.

Another great plus about the online casino games is that it is available to a player for 24 hours a day. It is up to a person to decide where and when to play. There is no need for waiting and traveling, and the rules of online gambling sites are much less strict than that of a real casino.

It is important to remember some of the disadvantages and dangers in online mobile gambling. In order to play using your mobile, sometimes you will have to download and install the software initially, which is a pain in some cases. Sometimes, dubious download sources might get the software infected with adware or malware designed to affect smartphone operating systems. In case of a web-based internet casinos, during the games the mobile might take up a lot of internet traffic and memory.

The payment takes a little while to be credited in your account unlike the real casinos where if you win, you can take your earnings back home immediately. Also, you can not get the customer service like that of a real casino. Online gambling is also forbidden in many countries, some people take the risk of playing it.

Online gambling is an effective but dangerous method to make some quick money. One can earn a large amount of money and become rich within hours. At the same time, there is a possibility of losing everything and getting bankrupt.

Regardless of your opinion about Mobile Gambling, one thing's for sure...there is a lot of money to be earned in this industry - by both users and businesses alike...more so since the industry is still relatively new...first mover's benefits are very high...

So what do you think? Do you agree with my hypothesis about Mobile Gambling being a high-earning industry or do you think its just a fad that will die with time? Either way do let us know in the comments below
